I blew a shear pin yesterday on the impeller in my BX2750C snowblower, and when I finally got the snow out and the unit defrosted (heavy, wet snow!) I was unable to move the impeller, which is usually free by then. Turned out the shear pin got stuck at 6 o'clock right under the impeller blade...

I found a solution...I kept going back to what I'd read..."hydraulic lock" more than anything else seemed to keep being stated as the usual cause. So, on the attachment side I very - ever so slightly - loosened one of the nuts on the red hose down at the bucket...got a few drops of fluid out...

No - it's inside the female portion that it's stuck.(So on the hose side, not the tractor side.)

So spring has finally arrived and I've disconnected the snowblower and want to put my FEL back on the BX24. One of my hydraulic hose connections (red, if it matters) seems to be "seized". I can, of course fit it on, but can't get the ring to drop and secure. I can't move the "button/valve"...
