    Help L3800 Starter Issue

Thanks for the quick reply Ray. I'll check mine today and adjust as necessary. I'm hoping it isn't the starter or worse yet the flywheel. it acts like the battery is weak like it doesn't have enough amps to crank the motor. I load tested the battery which checked out good and its putting...

    Help L3800 Starter Issue

I realize this an old post but my L3800 is starting to do the same clanking noise out of the starter. Did you get yours sorted CaveCreekRay? If so what was the issue and the subsequent repair since I think mine is doing the same thing. Thanks in advance, Eric

    L3800 Rear Wheel Torque Specs.

Hi folks, Going to be adding a couple 2 inch Bora wheel spacers to the rear wheels on my 2012 L3800 this weekend. Anyone have any experience or know the ft pound torque vales on the rear wheels? I thought I read somewhere it was 150 ft lbs? Seems excessive, anyone know for sure?

    L3800 not starting

Just an FYI, if the oil seal on the ball screw is leaking you're SOL since the unit is non-service item; meaning that you have to purchase the whole ball screw assembly ($900+) which is what I was facing a few weeks ago. $900 bucks for a $4 dollar seal; unbelievable. By the way Kubota...

    L3800 not starting

I have the same problem; did you get yours fixed? Mine had a cut seal on the steering input shaft which was leaking down to the bottom of the box. Mine is just off warranty and I'm not getting much help from Kubota. If yours is still in warranty get it fixed; those boxes are majorly expensive...

    L3800 Known Starting Issue?

That may be your experience blugill; I've got a 2012 L3800 with 208 hours with a leaking power steering box a month out of warranty. I've been talking with the dealer warranty person for 4 weeks now with no resolution or movement just efforts to stall and hope I go away. Forget about talking...

    L3800 Steering box hydraulic leak

Hi all, Any one experience a hydraulic leak from a 3200 or 3800 steering box? I've got a 2012 with 204 hrs with a stubborn leak. Tractor is just 1 month out of warranty (figures right?) and I've called my dealer Messicks and spoke to the service manager with no response for over a week...

    Snow Removal question

Thanks Gerald, I hoping (fingers crossed) if we spend money a rear blade we'll get little snow this year. Typically when we buy new lawnmowers we get a drought that year and so on. :) I'll try this without the chains and if it is painful enough then we'll spring for the chains and wheel...

    Snow Removal question

Thanks folks, I think we'll try the Xtreme 7 ft blade that Everything Attachment has on their website. Made in the USA by the the sellers so at least we'll know who contact if it bends. The fellow on the phone said nobody has bent one of these yet so I think it'll be a good blade. It also...

    Snow Removal question

This one is pricey but looks pretty stout and sturdy. Anybody have any experience with this company and their products? I'll probably spring for the sides and the adjustable skids. Not cheap but at least I can use it in the summer moving dirt and gravel. Buy it once sort of thing I guess...

    Snow Removal question

Thanks all, Good suggestions; the KK doesn't have an offset which in my case would be beneficial for sure. I found this rear blade and it seems to have all the adjustments that should work. I tried Craigs List in a 200 mile radius and haven't found much in the last month or so. Looks like...

    Snow Removal question

Hi all, We purchased a new L3800 recently and bought a home with a 1/2 mile paved driveway. Our other house with a much shorter drive we used a BX2200 FEL to remove snow which was tedious. We are thinking about getting a King Kutter HD 84 inch rear blade that weighs in at 610 lbs and using it...

    L3800HST, LA524 Loader, 5 FT Landpride

Possibly an air pocket in the coolant system after the block heater install causing the coolant not to circulate. It could have built enough pressure blow out the block heater.
