My L3800 will run all day with a 5 foot brush hog mowing tall grass in Texas heat in the normal operating temp range. Something is wrong.

Hi all. First I am new to tractors. I have a land pride RCR1860 bush hog with floating top link. I also just bought a quick hitch from northern tools. How do I hook up the floating top link to the quick hitch? It does not want to stay in the hook on the quick hitch. What am I missing or doing wrong?

Has anyone ever fabricated or know where you can buy a full roll cage for a Kubota tractor? I was looking at adding some protection in front of the seat as well. Something that would protect against something rolling back from the FEL also.

Sorry for the confusion. This would be with foot off of the clutch. Yes it even grinds sometimes when putting it into forward or reverse after initial start up. Also when moving from forward to reverse or vise versa.

Thanks for the reply. Do you have the noise when the clutch is dis-engaged or gear grinding?

Hi to all, I just got a new L3800 with the standard gear transmission. It only has a couple of hours on it but it seems to grind gears and also makes a noise when the clutch is dis-engaged. As soon as you press in the clutch the noise goes away. Just does not seem right. What are your thoughts...
