    snow plowing pics

Yesterday's snow clearing at -5F was about the coldest I have been out there as it is rare to get a meaningful dumping of snow with temps that cold. While we have a few mornings in the -20 to -35F each year I am not choosing to be outside longer than a few mins. I was actually pretty toasty...

    Battery Tender Question / Advice

I was just thinking about a tender.......so I assume there is no issue using the 12v outlet on the B2601 for a tender........right?

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

After helping out at my wife's horse barn on Christmas Day, I was asked to pop over today to see if I could figure out what someone did to the JD 3033R's 3pt hitch as their arena drag is all messed up. They had a company come in and do some work on the indoor ring and they used the JD and...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Not the Kubota but.......my wife and I headed to her horse barn this morning as the barn manager has 5 kids and we have none so we wanted to help her get things done ASAP to get her home to her kids on Christmas Day. I figured I would be swapping water buckets, picking stalls and filling hay...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I have found long johns, Carhartt bibs and hoodie over a wool base layer and a waterproof outer shell and a good hat or facemask with Muck boots (with or without toe warmers) gets the job done. Typically if we are getting snow temps are in the 20s with some wind. I have been out there in the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Wasn't planning on dealing with snow removal today but the storm that was supposed to pass south of us brought slow steady flakes totaling an annoying 2". Back blade time......the gravel is frozen at this point so was able to use the aggressive side of the blade. Will most likely have to sand...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Well, if I were a jazz drummer I would clearly walk around randomly with the box instead of a straight line and make people interpret where I was trying to go.......

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

No judgement zone. We all have the world's most expensive wheelbarrows and I bet we all do this, I know I use it for things I "could" carry but........tractor. Chewy box with a 50lb bag of dog food.....sure I "could" carry it from A to B but I had the tractor going anyways so.......

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I had this same problem a few years back when I was building out my home recording studio (I'm a drummer) and the Fed Ex and USPS guys would just leave stuff at the top of my driveway or worse on the opposite side of the road by our mailbox which would sometimes slide down into the frozen...

Got 8-10" overall.....nice dry fluffy stuff, great for a blower and no wind this morning to speak of.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Ah.....I was looking at an NC or ND Miata for a bit as well, killer fun cars. In the bubble is a Porsche 911, a 997.1 C4S from 2006........there is some family history with that car and I am now the new custodian of it and enjoying the heck out of it. During the warmer months I was going on...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Winter prep done today ahead of 4-8" early this week. Pulled the FEL, wrapped that up with the tarp, mounted the blower after greasing all the zerks on both the frame and blower before mounting. Grabbed the rear blade as well, I wanted to see if I could fit the full setup into the Morton this...

    LX2610 block heater location

Here in NH we have the typical New England cold temp range, 30 to -20F, but the coldest I usually run it is 10F or so. I have a block heater but have not installed it as of yet. I usually run the glow plugs for slow 7 or 8 count and it fires right up with a small protest then let it warm for...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Actually a fairly enjoyable morning blowing snow......6 degrees but I'll take the trade off of having nice fluffy stuff to blow vs the heavy wet crap. 2601 worked well.
