Thank you so much for the detail. As I was working with it, I twisted the belt in the right direction, and it fits in all the pulleys perfectly now. With the help ftom the members of this forum I was able to get my blades replaced. Now I have to get the belt routed correctly and I seem to be unable to route the belt around the rear drive pulley. I loosened the spring and attempted to put the belt back on and it just isnt reaching so I guess...

Hey Bee Positive I figured it out finally. Going back out in the sun and try and finish I didnt need to get the belt behind the guards i dont know what i was thinking. I think I am ok. If you have a link to the owner's manual I would appreciate it. I can not locate mine. Thanks for so much help...

I went for the Kubota belt the old one was about 9 years old. Good to know the oem belts are good I was going to get one but hesitated and had to pay more.

I noticed that alan socket on the bolt. I guess you could use that if the bolt got damaged. Thanks for that info!
