Thanks everyone. I'll run down a few leads and see what happens. I got quotes anywhere from $487.00 to $687.00 from my local dealers for just the new tank.

Well...I tore a hole in the top of my fuel tank yesterday. Anybody ever try one of those silly putty kits to plug it up? Can't get a new tank for two weeks and have a concrete guy coming out to pour a slab and I have no base built for him yet. :(

Is it possible to adjust the speed on my FEL? It lowers WAY to quick for my liking. The dump speed is ok; but when I lower a load down, it slams to the ground really quick with no "in-between" speed.:(

Does that mean two 5K- 7K axles? or find a 10k or 14k axle?

Morning Everyone! I need to pick up a trailer to haul my tractor around but know nothing about axle weights. What axle rating would I need to haul my tractor mentioned above, the rear tires are ballasted with water/antifreeze mixture.

I got about 12 acres mowed, releveled the driveway after some knucklehead in a big rig used my drive to turnaround while it was pouring. (i need some rock on it bad!) AND....mashed me a big ol' chicken snake trying to cross said driveway on my way back to the shed with my FEL bucket.

Got to pull my jealous brother out of the creek he was stuck in. His green machine is "broke" and he buried his truck in a fresh silt bed that was deposited in the middle of our crossing. I idled my new machine down into the creek bed, let him hook up the chain and let the tractor crawl its way...

Can anybody give me estimate on the price to have Kubota perform the 50 hour service/ fluid change? Seems like a lot of fluid to change out.

Well, I got home late Sat after coming in 2nd at the golf tournament, woke up early sunday, took the wife to breakfast, got in my new Kubota and leveled the driveway, disc'd about 4 acres, cleaned up my fence rows from all the brush we cut over the winter, dug four post holes, put 5.4 hours on...

Thanks Everyone, We've always had "experienced" tractors in the past that always came with their share of leaks, drips, and "that's just how it has to work". I'm going to enjoy working my land now without getting chased off by bumblebees, hornets, snakes, goat weed pollen, dust or the other host...

So I'm thinking I can sink my disc just a couple of inches to grind up the weeds and make another pass at full depth after I've got a few hours seat time. I've got about 60 acres I need to get started on before we quit getting rain here in Texas.

Good morning Everyone, I have a question I need answered. I just got a brand new M7040 with a 10' disc. I have never owned anything new, so my concern is there a "break-in" period necessary, or can I just start discing right away?:confused:

In my part of Texas, we trap as many as we can, casterate the males and turn them loose but keep the females and feed them out with whatever is available. We ususally finish them out on chopped shell corn/ milo mixture for about a month before slaughter. They will be extremely lean and make...
