B6100e Clutch or Driveline Issue... HELP!

Well, Lil Foot, you were pretty close. Turns out that the splines were damaged on the clutch disc itself. Fortunately, the shaft was still good. It was strange as all of the innards were in near perfect condition, except those splines. In fact, everything looked good enough that only a new...

    B6100 2wd Driveshaft - How to Remove?!?!

I can see the ballpoint assembly and the pin. The pin was intact. I did pull the pin hoping I could move the shaft far enough forward to drop it out but that obviously doesn't work. If you do have a scan of the parts in this are that would be nice. You can reach me at anderegypt@aol.com

    B6100 2wd Driveshaft - How to Remove?!?!

Ran tractor 15 plus years no issue. Replaced entire clutch assembly 75 hrs ago. No issues since. Driving tractor last summer and went from being fine with no problems, going in reverse ok, then switched to second gear and instantly a problem. Slipping, chattering, etc. Based on previous...

    B6100 2wd Driveshaft - How to Remove?!?!

The tractor has a new clutch setup, just a few years old. I baby it to avoid any additional clutch problems. Last fall, I was mowing the yard and when I went from reverse to second fear, the tractor would barely move. I was able to get it back to the barn in low first gear but it wouldn't pull...

    B6100 2wd Driveshaft - How to Remove?!?!

Hi guys, I have an older B6100 2wd Kubota which I believe may have stripped splines on the driveshaft. I have searched everywhere looking for information as to how to remove this shaft to inspect. Can it be done without breaking the tractor in half? If so, how?? I sure appreciate any help...

    B6100e

Mine had the same issue on the rotted flange. I took the radiator to a competent shop that cleaned it, brazed a new replacement flange on and gave it a fresh coat of paint. I think it cost me about $75-100 or so. I purchased a correct new Kubota cap for approximately $25-30 and I was back in...

Adding Gauges to B6100 (Oil / Temp / Etc)

Wow. Just found the Fab and Custom threads. Very cool. I have been slowly working my way through the threads and can't believe I missed them before. I am sure it has already been discussed, but am curious what the general consensus is on adding additional instruments on the tractor. I would...

B6100e Clutch or Driveline Issue... HELP!

Thank you guys. All of your comments are helpful towards me getting my head around this. Today, I had my son start the tractor and work the clutch pedal in and out while I (carefully) viewed the driveshaft from underneath. Conclusion: there is definitely a disconnect inside of the...

B6100e Clutch or Driveline Issue... HELP!

The only hole I can see in is the rubber plug that pops out (I think so you can see the timing marks). I don't see any other means to see the clutch. I noticed there is a plug in the bottom of the bellhousing. Not sure what this is for. Would I be able to see in there? I did go out in the...

Hi guys, Long time lurker here that has always enjoyed the site, but never signed up. Well this week I have managed to lose the rear axle in my Bronco and have some sort of serious problem with my Kubota. Rains, it pours. 7 years ago I had the clutch assembly completely replaced by a shop...
