I believe the fuel rail is stuck closed and won't allow any fuel to the injectors Does anyone know how to go about unsticking it? Thanks in advance

Hey guys I went out and started the tractor and held my hand over the breather intake to throttle it back and it finally cleared up and ran right so I'm thinking maybe Millineial was right, oil leaked down and caused it. Whatever it was it will not sit that long without being cranked up again...

Oil level is good and the fuel tank is about half full. It sounds like the rack may be stuck but I sure don't think ice is the problem today 98 degrees outside. I'll take the little cap off the end and see what I can see. Thanks

All linkage works fine Ran perfect last time I used it Cranked up and steadily got higher and higher rpms till wide open or at least pretty danged fast sorta blackish smoke. Thanks for the reply

Hey all, I have an L260 that hasn't been cranked up for several months. Well I started it up today and it ran wide open no control with throttle lever or shut off lever Had to shut it off by choking off the air Anybody know how to fix this problem? Thanks

OK thanks for the replies.I had a chance to take a closer look and found that there is a small hole (about 1/16") drilled in the block about 1" under the freeze plug. What is this hole for and why would water be leaking from it? Could it signify a bad sleeve O-ring or cracked block or what?

Hey guys, new to forum and just bought a 1972 L260. Tractor runs great and everything works good except for a very small water leak coming from behind the injector pump. Question is there a freeze plug back there that could be leaking or what do you'll think it could be? It has the Z1300 2 cyl...
