What's the definition of "turf application"?

I actually pulled that pic from the web so I don't know what's in the field. I looks like maybe soy beans to me. I have laid sod that way though and with a good operator it goes down much quicker than laying small pieces by hand. The guy with the rake will actually grab into the sod with the...

What's the definition of "turf application"?

Although after looking at the speed chart posted above, I'm not sure aerification or rolling out sod would really require speeds quite that slow.

What's the definition of "turf application"?

Yes you could define it that literally as well.....

What's the definition of "turf application"?

I don't have a clue on the reasoning for the "don'ts", but one turf application would be a be for a pto aerifier.

    BX2370 Noise

I guess I'm just not used to hearing the hydro whine while not moving or under any load. As long as everyone says it's normal I guess I'm not gonna worry about it too much lol. I may eventually pull the roll bar off just to test the tuning fork effect I've read about and see if that quiets...

    BX2370 Noise

Thank you to all who have responded so far! Everything on the tractor works fine, all hydraulics seem to have plenty of power. The only "issue" I have with the tractor is this noise. And if the consensus comes back that it is nothing to worry about, I'm good with that. That would be great in...

    BX2370 Noise

I showed one of the guys at the dealership the video and he didn't really have an answer. He said maybe the hydro pump was starting to go bad, but usually that would be accompanied by other symptoms. I don't think he was a tech though. I think he was the rental manager. It was Saturday and the...

    BX2370 Noise

Here is a video at idle when I first started it after service. I let it idle for ten minutes before raising the throttle or moving the hydraulics.

    BX2370 Noise

The 3 point was lowered when I took that video. The sound only seems to change in relation to engine speed. Raising or lowering the 3 point or loader don't seem to have any effect on it. Interestingly to me is that I don't notice the sound right away when I start the tractor at idle. I start...

    BX2370 Noise

Ok, hydro service done with Sudt2, oem filter and cleaning strainer. There was a small amount of metal shavings in the strainer. Here is a link to a video I took after service. I don't hear much difference. It is not noticeable from the seat while operating with ear plugs in. Should I worry?

    BX2370 Noise

I'm going to get my hydro service taken care of next weekend. But in the meantime, I was wondering if anyone else had an opinion of if my BX hydro noise is common or "normal".

    Grease gun recommendation

I have the Alemite at home and a couple of generic parts store pistol grip guns at work. They will all get the job done, but the high pressure option on the Alemite is nice for those fittings that don't want to take grease easily. I've tried a few different greases at work (golf course...

    Grease gun recommendation

Thanks, looks like I'll stick to the standard tips, because I have alot of those recessed fittings and don't like to have to grab a different gun for different situations.

    Grease gun recommendation

How much bigger in diameter are the lock n lube tips? I deal with alot of recessed zerks that a normal tip barely fits in.

    Grease gun recommendation

It's out of stock most everywhere right now. I usually buy by the case from Amazon for work. Very hard to find single tubes, not sure why it's not more popular. It seems like really good stuff. Pep Boys shows it on their website but says check in store.
