    L3800 HST fuel issue

Been wanting to get back related to this subject from June. I ended up replacing the fuel filter. I'm guessing I must have gotten some bad diesel at some point. When filter was removed there was a significant amount of what I can only describe as "think, clear jell" in the filter itself as...

    L3800 HST fuel issue

I cleaned the air filter, evacuator and gas cap. Also added some Killem to tank. Drove tractor for bit and did seem better although not running as I've come to expect. I'm going to get a new diesel filter to make sure that there is no water in fuel and see if this clears it up. Thanks.

    L3800 HST fuel issue

Thanks NIW. I'll give this a try this morning once I'm out in the barn. Followup question is what should I be looking to do if I do have a plugged vent? I actually had an old tractor guy/buddy tell me in coffee shop a few days ago when discussing my issue in this thread I've described and he...

    Fuel filter change

This question is slightly "off-topic" but related to fuel filter change. I"ve looked in my owners manual and have not found the answer to my question. Is there (2) two fuel filters located on the L 3800? I was completing my 200 hour service, per manual, and someone had told me recently when...

    PTO Issues

I'm at 200 hours on my L3800 and this exact thing happened while using my pasture cutter yesterday. First time I've had it happen. I'll be spraying the cable as suggested by the OTT guys. Thanks for the input. Blue Lives Matter!

    Replacing Fuel Filter

Got new assembly today as it was actually cracked too. Removed aand Reinstalled the 3 hoses and mounting screw easily. Less than $30 for entire assembly at dealer. Allowed filter to fill with diesel. Had some airlock occur after 30 seconds or so initially. Was able to keep rpm's up to allow...
