The seal leak is on the crankshaft on the water pump end of the motor, not the flywheel end. The motor is mounted backwards in this model. Thanks for the reply.

I have a BX2230 with less than 2000 hours on it. While using it the other day, I noticed a puddle of engine oil under the motor. After removing the engine cowling to be able to see, it appears that the oil is squirting out around the front main seal. Has anyone had this problem, and is there...
