I don't use a MMM but my understanding is that you don't use and or need the skid plate when the MMM is attached. I have the skid plate on full time as I do not use the MMM.

Thanks to all for the feedback. Dropped the belly pan and drained out excess. As an FYI, I tried to buy a fuel transfer set up relatively cheaply to drain through the dipstick tube to no avail. I had hoped to avoid removing the plug again as the ground to upright effort is getting harder and harder!

Looks like I may have about half a quart extra oil in the BX23. Should I be worried? How much overfull is too much overfull?

The title seems to be a bit misleading. Messicks is saying they didn't recommend the BX as a "lawn tractor", which I agree with. I have a separate lawn tractor for mowing and the BX for other work. I have been very happy with the BX on my 3 acres, and it is perfect size for my needs.

And also check the front axle fluid level. I'd bet it's low.
