    BX Dually??

Thank you! I didn't realize he had a part number for the BX (Good Works Tractors). I did see his video on the JD dually but didn't see anything related to BX. This is very interesting. I have seen the need to relocate the mower wheels, due to the stickout and Good Works did a video installing...

    BX Dually??

Glad we are consistent with the consensus. 🙃 IMO the driveline, especially the rear, is built stout enough for dually with general use. Anything pushed to it's limit will break of course. I think you all have good arguments. With any changes, even with spacers, there is a risk. I couldn't...

    BX Dually??

Exactly - their stability is unmatched, for good reason. I probably wouldn't every day drive it with 8 wheels, but if I'll be working in the woods for several days, I'd like the insurance and take the time to bolt them on.

    BX Dually??

Thanks Skeets- I have slopes all over my property in WV but I'm not using it for mowing rows, I need to work in and around trees where you can't maintain a perfect 90 degrees all the time...while still using the FEL. I do have to contend that the BX is highly capable, but "stable" is probably...

    BX Dually??

Loving my BX23S that I've had for a couple years now. Just spent ~$40k on it with all the attachments, etc. There's really only been two negatives: 1. The front loader lifting capacity is a bit weak for certain items I like to move around. 2. It's very tipsy on sloped terrain. The problem...

BX Series Tractor Only - Front vs Rear weight?

Thanks everyone. Yeah "rear is heavier" was my guess too, for the same reasons. Probably is. I actually have a tongue weight scale so I'll be able to check and ride safe. I guess for more context, I have the BX body only which is about 7.5' and a Gator HPX which is about 9.5'. Loading them...

    Desperately need help! 🙏🏼

Glad you found the parking brake was out of place! No lights could be a fuse but unlikely if the tractor was just running fine. Is the battery secured down? Check if any of the positive wires could have touched the tractor body. If so then it might have blown a fuse. With the condition of the...

    Desperately need help! 🙏🏼

Similar thing happened to me once... for me, it looked like the PTO lever was turned 'off' but it was like an inch from being actually pulled back all the way. There are a bunch of checks the machine does prior to allowing the engine to turn over. I'm curious too if you're getting lights on the...

BX Series Tractor Only - Front vs Rear weight?

WITHOUT the front loader or a backhoe/3pt implements... BX tractor alone -- Does anyone know which is heavier - front or rear of the tractor? I'm asking for towing reasons. I have two vehicles I'll be towing on a 16' trailer that will probably just barely fit and I'm curious if anyone knows...

    Grapple Width for SCL1000?

Your SIL sounds productive & efficient, lol. I actually got mine to just get heavier work done in residential areas without tearing up the turf. Being light & slim is a bonus though. The Kubota's pin reach is 84" so I'll just lift it over the 6' gate. I'm still getting the 36" grapple...

    Grapple Width for SCL1000?

I think that’s good advice. 36” is what my gut is telling me too. I’ll still be able to grab materials that stick out the sides but keep the ability to squeeze in 36” areas. Plus that’s a great point about raking through roots — I’ll get more action into the ground with the smaller width...

    Grapple Width for SCL1000?

I’m deciding between a 36” or 48” grapple for an SCL1000. (Claw style - rounded on both sides). I’m trying to decide which width will be more useful. I have a 48” for my BX23S which works great but no experience with anything else. I’m wondering if I should just get a 36” for the SCL1000 so...
