    Transporting BX23S

I used to have a BX23 and trailered it quite a bit. In the front, I used grab hooks on the front bumper. In the rear, I don't remember for sure but I think I put grab hooks on the backhoe side steps. As I recall they were pretty solid on that tractor. I would definitely recommend chains over...

Towing B2601 with 14 ft trailer - SA or TA

I originally bought my 16' PJ when I had a BX23 and Tacoma. It is just about perfect for that. :) Although there were still issues loading if I didn't have a hill to back up to, especially with the mower on. Just like the OP, I was looking for something somewhat lightweight since I had a...

Towing B2601 with 14 ft trailer - SA or TA

+1 I have a 16' steel TA PJ trailer. I would like to upgrade to 18' or maybe 20' someday with some new features, but I really like that trailer a lot. Also wish I'd have gone with a beavertail trailer. I didn't think I wanted that when I was buying because I envisioned it dragging on the ground...

    Tractor Stability

I don't recall seeing comments that said that except for one a couple posts up, but agreed, no need to keep rear weight on while mowing.

    Tractor Stability

+1, drop the loader for mowing. Especially given that it sounds like you don't use the loader that often, I would definitely take it off. You'll find that tractor will feel very stable with the mid-mount mower on and the loader off.

    Tractor Stability

Personally I agree with the posters that say forget loading the tires, just start using a heavy 3ph ballast. I wouldn't want to add the weight in a way I can't remove. And weight added behind the rear axle is better ballast in that it helps take weight and stress off the front axle. Loaded tires...

Only Back wheels spin on 4WD kubota?

As said, you shouldn't be in 4WD all the time. Certainly not on dry pavement, or making sharp turns on dry ground. But then again if you have a loader and you're going downhill with weight on the loader, you should be in 4WD. It's all very situational; I'm in and out of 4WD a lot, but generally...

    SSQA FEL-mounted snow blades

Anyone here have B2763 front blade? The type that does not run on the FEL?

    SSQA FEL-mounted snow blades

What's the consensus on these? I've always preferred a back blade for clearing snow where I'm at honestly. I know driving through the snow you're about to push off to the side isn't always ideal, but I do find the back blade very versatile since I can pull, push, swing it all the way around, and...

    B2650 owners, a question

Made it up to the dealer with one of the washers. Dropped it off right before they closed yesterday. One guy guessed it was something that went against paint because of the rubber backing, but offhand didn't recognize it. They kept it to show to more service staff today. Got a call this morning...

    B2650 owners, a question

Vinyl sided building with asphalt singles, been there maybe 15 years or so now. Completely agree that the first washer looks potentially unused. The second one, eh, hard to say. It's a little dirtier, but it was found just outside the garage door and could have been runover. Still, no...

    B2650 loader disconnect pins

Mine frequently work out to the keepers, but the keepers definitely aren't bending.

    B2650 owners, a question

The plot thickens. Found another washer of the same type today on the ground just outside the building where I found yesterday's washer. I think if I can find the time, Monday I'm going to run up to the dealer and see if their shop guys might recognize it. An ordinary washer I'd guess there...
