    Broke Bush hog

You guys are making me feel better. I'm coming around to your thinking that the metal failed. It was so atraumatic when it happened that I mowed for awhile until I realized I wasn't. Thanks for everyone's input.

    Broke Bush hog

Here's a up close pic of the break that might show the structure of the metal better. My service guy couldn't get the rest of the cross bar off the shaft. Ended up cutting it off on both sides and taking the gear box off to take back to shop. After heating may need new seal.

    Broke Bush hog

The stump jumper looks fine on both sides. In fact I thought they would just replace the cross member but I guess due to balance and other factors they replace the whole thing. I see no corrosion--Its only a few months old--I bought new. The metal at break looks grainy to me. Almost like pot...

    Broke Bush hog

I looked all around the area where I found the piece lying on the ground but there was nothing out of the ordinary not even any large stumps. I'm wondering it it just did that after a cumulative total of consecutive bumps. I will admit I was probably cutting too low but other than some stumps...

    Broke Bush hog

This is the best I have. Symmetrical break on both sides. No perceived vibrations any different than normal before the incident. In fact I was probably bush hogging for several minutes before I realized I wasn't doing anything.

    Broke Bush hog

I'm a novice tractor owner with an L6060 that I've had for less than a year. While bush hogging the other day with my Land Pride RC 1872 I noticed I wasn't cutting anything. I found my stump jumper with attached blades laying on the ground. The dish looks fine and the blades are ok without any...

    Bush hog gear box cover

Elliott, the cone is the part I want to replace with a new cover. It makes getting to the shaft and gears easier than getting around the plastic cone which I find to be almost impossible. The EA cover allows the cover to be quickly removed and replaced for service.

    Bush hog gear box cover

There's not a picture for what you suggested.. The part I want replaces the plastic flower pot looking thing connected to the front of the gearbox: By pulling the lynch pin on the top one can grease the PTO shaft and deal with the slip clutch if necessary. Picture shown above. Thank you for...

    Bush hog gear box cover

Seeing where Everything Attachments is having difficulty. Was going to order their gearbox cover for my Land Pride RC 1860. Are there any alternatives anyone might know about? Google not coming up with anything. Thanks. MK

    L6060 rear lights

This is how I have addressed so far. I reinstalled the lights upside down and moved in board. Wires now on top so to protect them I duct taped them down. Found 3 of the 4 lenses so now have to order one lenses and one bulb. Appreciate the input.

    L6060 rear lights

I have searched for this but can't find an answer--only threads changing to LED lights. New L6060 owner and bush hogging in woods today lost the lenses from both lights, one bulb and separated wires on one side from the two turn signals on the back of the tractor. The small rounds ones on top...

    Grill guard pricing

To be fair to Messick's I did email them about the shipping price yesterday and got a prompt response back that the grill guard dimensions had been put into the computer wrong and that the shipping price was about half the original estimate--still greater than $50. By this time I had decided I...
