Thanks 200! Blower is one year old. Replaced shear pin and greased it up and we are now working perfect. I think you're correct that even though its fairly new, it still needed the grease. Manual says every four hours of use it needs to be greased. Thanks for your reply!

Yikes! I'm clumbsy with eqiupment but have never hit the skidsteer. Sounds nasty!

You guys are the best Forum on the Internet! I put in the rear PTO position so the auger could turn, grabbed hold with a channel lock and was able to push the holes into alignment. Mind you it didn't turn freely but it did turn enough to align. I hope I didn't bend something in the auger...

Good morning! It appears that I broke a shear pin yesterday finding a rock while blowing snow. I cannot get the shaft to rotate to align for a new pin install. When I put the blower gear watching the chain the whole auger unit goes into rotation? Any thoughts on how to align the shear...

I assume it is "ok" to run run straight #1 deseil throughout the winter months? Is that the concensus, or is "winter blend" a better option? Hate to burn up the pistons running it too hot.

Thought I'd update my thread. After a call with closest dealer in Alexandria, MN (1 1/2 hour away), he was pretty certin my issue was deisel related. I drained fuel system one more time this morning. The deisel was a very yellow color. Put #1 deisel in (a very clear color) with some addtive...

Just an update - was able to blow snow in -14 degree temps today. Took the tractor quite a while to warm up and quit blowing white smoke. Smoking quit after warm, but was losing power under snow load. Just not running normally. Spoke to closest Kobota dealer in Alex today (1 1/2 hour away)...

After trying all of the suggestions in this thread, I was able to get the tractor running. I had to bleed the fuel system a bit after changing fuel fiters. Let her run for 30 minutes to warm up. Went and blew some snow and the red engine warning indicator is staying on? I will call dealer...
