Looking for something comparable to an APS1560 with packer for grass, barley and wheat. I have an L2501 and I'm hoping for alternatives to add to my used searches as these are just never coming up out where I am (Oregon) and I'm hoping to not have to buy new. Much appreciated

These smaller Kubotas dont need bleeding. If you run it dry, fill it with fuel and crank it and it will turn over. Messick's says the same:
