    Another thing worth mention is buying a tandem axle trailer. A single axel may "get the job done", but I would fear a tire blowing out being at close to the max weight, and loosing trailer, tractor, life and whatever you're towing with. Just food for thought.

    Thanks everyone for the tips and advice. I'll post my results soon. As for the BH, no creaking again as of yet. no noises from the FEL at all yet either.

    So I greased all the fittings today, and everything is right with the world again. Weird though. Yesterday was the second time I've used the BH. I guess they didn't put enough grease in from the dealer?

    Strange. I was playing with mine last night, attaching my new mower deck. I was able to raise and lower to any point I wanted. I didn't notice it only going a 1/4" at a time. Is this something different on a newer unit?

    So I found a used 54" mower deck (RCK54-23BX). The owners had it for 3 seasons and it's in great condition. Anything I should be looking for? Problem areas? He's asking $1000 CND. So thats like fifty bucks US ;). I think it's a pretty good price.
