All good fuses when metered will show a short. That shows it is a good fuse. A bad fuse will show an open.

Hoping to hear from the OP. Just kinda curious why some folks take on a challenge like this one, with so many unknowns. Is it boredom, or do they actually think they might be able to find a use for it, once they figure out what it actually is, and go to the trouble and expense to get the tractor...

Hope you bought it dirt cheap, like scrap metal cheap. Out of curiosity, what possessed you to buy something like this, not even knowing if the tractor runs and what the attachment is ?

If the reply above doesn,t help find your problem, swap out the hoses in pairs were they connect to your tractor, and see if that gets the proper response. That procedure will help you determine if the issue is on the tractor side or the implement side.

Out of curiosity, why do you think you need trailer brakes ? Is it for pulling the trailer behind your tractor or vehicle ? Would you prefer electric or hydralic ?

Make sure all levers are returned to normal so that all your safety start circuits are in the correct state to allow it to start. If that doesn,t work, I,m not sure how you proved your battery is fine by hooking it up to your truck battery to test it . Maybe you could explain more how you did...

I always try and use new nyloc nuts wherever I can. As an extra bit of caution, I always use a lockwasher if it doesn,t cause a problem. That way, by just snugging the nut onto the bolt, I don,t really have to worry about a torque spec or overtightening them.

Lots more info in your add might help you sell it if you include lots of pictures, location and asking price. Also, is it paid off in full and verifiable with paperwork ?

Make sure all your safety switches are in the proper position. Any chance you left something engaged when you shut the tractor off and forgot to reset before trying to start your tractor ?

Get your test light out and check to make sure you have battery and ground at the control when you are trying to activate the chute. Use a test lamp with a very sharp pointed tip to pierce thru the insulation. That should be a very easy thing to trouble shoot to find where your problem is...
