    L185dt rops questions

anyone have a pic of their L185 with the ROPS? I meant to buy one when I purchased my tractor since the original owner didn't add one but never got around to it. I keep mine in a storage container that only has a 7'8" clearance so concerned it might not fit.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I have everything but a worm drive clamp. Going to do some research and maybe try it myself and see if I can get it done. Would be nice to save the money and learn a new skill at the same time. Oh and to say what I did today... worked out at our country place to clean up around the little pond...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I've got a leaking seal on the hydraulics for my front blade... I was thinking about just pulling it and taking it to get seals replaced but wondering how hard of a job is it doing it yourself? I've done seals in motorcycle forks but never on a tractor.

Buying our first tractor: 1977 L185DT

I have a L185DT and have really enjoyed it. The only thing I wish it had was a front end loader instead of just a front blade but then again... the price would have been a lot higher with the loader. I use ours for lots of projects. It pulls a box blade and I use it to mow trails. Good little...

    L185/L1801 Box Blade size

Congrats on the new toy. I predict the boxblade will continue to discover jobs it needs to do. I know my D185 is constantly finding stuff to do at our place.

dug out a little pond with the LT185DT

Ray... Joke all you want but it has been a fun project and some good father son time. Sure I could hire the local dozer guy to come carve out an acre or two pond out at our place but what fun is that? I'd much rather enjoy my free time working on our place slowly upgrading things. ps... I fly...

    L185/L1801 Box Blade size

I have a L185DT and I run a 5 foot box blade on mine with no problems. As mentioned, you just have to take small bites at a time but mine handles the 5 footer just fine. I have used mine to dig a little pond with out at our place. Took quite a while doing it but was a fun project and the little...

dug out a little pond with the LT185DT

We were thinking we would catch some bluegills at the lake and throw them in there just for fun. Wife likes watching the goldfish or I'd put a couple channel cats in there

dug out a little pond with the LT185DT

thought I'd just post a quick update to the little pond that we dug with our Kubota l185DT and the box blade. We have cleared out some cedars so we could make it bigger. It isn't full yet but it is starting to fill up so you can see the new size. Still a small pond for sure but making it larger...

    looking to buy a tractor

There are plenty of scams but craigslist has some legit bargains too. I got my old Kubota off craigs and ended up with a great little tractor at a fantastic price. Deals are out there... just case of right place at right time. The really good deals will sell first day.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

nothing special but finally broke down and mounted a metal 30cal ammo box on the back of the seat for my Kubota. Painted it Kubota orange and happy with the result. Handy for carrying some basic tools with me.

An excellent way to spend 20 minutes...

I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed watching that video. I totally agree that our society is trying to shame people who do skilled labor and it is a darn shame. I have a college degree and work in a profession where I use my brain instead of my hands. However, the truth is that I prefer getting...

Awesome dogs / Crazy pets Thread

A good dog is hard to beat although I do get the benefit of a cat to keep mice under control. Our dog is just part of the family... lying under my chair as we speak

    Texas folks ok?

we avoided the tornados and just got lots and lots of rain and then a dusting of snow. Prayers go out to those not as fortunate though. I've been saying it all year but this has to go down as one of the strangest years weather wise that I have ever seen.

    Camper pics

08quadram, the old airstreams are great! I think ours is a 1972 and we have really enjoyed having it. The old saying is very true... they don't make them like that anymore.
