Took 2 days for me to take this thing apart. Thank you Mountainman for the advice After taking the HST out, the mount just dropped. I put the mount (M8 thread it seems) back in to show its original position. It does look like just corrosion creep in the small crack overtime and propagates...

Thank you so much Mountainman, I spend the whole day today with your advice. Finally that HST came out. I had to remove the lever arm above it (seize and rusted with the roller pin) to finally had room to wiggle it out. I am not sure how it was broken like that. Looks like the previous owner...
