Do most folks purchase implements from a dealer, online or a place like Tractor Supply?

Would like to apply a set of Pat’s Quick Hitch’s to a 2005 Kubota L3430. I’ve seen posts where it may be necessary to buy an extended top link also for the setup to work properly. Can someone confirm or deny this and please advise of the needed top link required? Thanks in advance.
