    LX2610 50hr shop vac question

I just did my 50 hr service. I used a big shop vac pressed tightly into the hole, but didn't pinch off the breather tube. I tapped a cap style oil filter removing tool on the end of the lower hydraulic filter and spun it off in about a second with a drill and an extention. Next time I won't...

LX2963 Snow blower not level from left to right

Right front tire is 10PSI lower than the left. Let's hope that's the problem.

LX2963 Snow blower not level from left to right

Thanks. Our ground is so gravelly (think sandy) that shoes or skids too easily dig in and we start throwing rocks. So we pretty much have to pick it up a bit and not use float. It gets the job done. I do wonder about trying some of the HUGE skid shoes I've seen. I think all is attached properly...

I can try that, but it looks like something ain't right, and I'd like to correct it if I can.

I just noticed when standing in front of our LX2963 snow blower on our LX2610 tractor that the blower is noticeably tilted a bit when off the ground. One side might be at least an inch and a half higher than the other. It levels off when you drop it to the ground, but we usually pick it up off...

Can a glow plug be damaged by staying on too long?

    LX2610 block heater location

Thanks. It's on a smart battery maintainer between our infrequent uses.

    LX2610 block heater location

What about 'burning out' or otherwise damaging the glow plug if heated too long? I probably won't do anything, but I just saw dipstick heaters, which peak my curiosity.

    LX2610 block heater location

I moved away in 2011 after living there for 10 years. Loved the moose in the driveway but not so much the mountain lion tracks outside my door in the morning snow! Nice country.

    LX2610 block heater location

Thanks. That's useful and answers my question. (I'm an ex-Sagle/Sandoint resident. I visit from far Northern CA whenever I can)

    LX2610 block heater location

We run Kubota 15w40 since it fits our temperature range. LX2610hsd. I have an old 38 watt magnetic block heater that I'm thinking of using--why not. Looking at the engine from above, no location jumps out at me. I also wonder if it would be better on the transmission. The lowest temperature we...

Thanks. Sounds like you were in the 'tight fit' camp.

Is there a thick shop manual for the LX2610

Thanks very much for your offer, but I have already obtained one through other means.
