    My homemade toothbar

Okay man, that is one BIG job for a relatively small tractor. It looks good. And that toothbar is quite impressive.

    My Torment is OVER

Thanks Bulldog. It was getting to the point that I was getting severely depressed every time hay season got here because I knew what I was getting into. I know what you mean about the rain. I finally saw a window and went for it. Got very lucky. It poured the rain 5 miles up the road night...

    CAT 1 limited

As the categories (1, 2, 3) go up, the size of the lift pins and their corresponding holes on the tractor lift arms get thicker. This also holds true for the top links and their attachment pins on the tractor. This keeps us from trying to lift HUGE category 2 and 3 implements with category 1...

    My Torment is OVER

Thanks. The tractor gets a good cleaning tomorrow after I haul all of those bales to the shed. That baler actually allowed me to enjoy hay baling again today for the first time in a long time.

    My Torment is OVER

I promised you all some pics of my new baler when I got it out of that dark barn to use it for the first time. I'm glad I took a couple of pics of it still perfectly clean before I "put her into the coal" this morning. It's a Vermeer 5410. Let me tell you all something. I HAD a Hesston 740...

    M 110 Shuttleshift

I literally do not even know what your tractor looks like, but I will tell you what I experienced on my M6800. The same basic thing was happening. Sometimes took off and worked perfect. Other times nothing. If I put the shuttle into gear with a little more force, it would go. Other times...

    Look what came today

Bulldog, if I ever decide to trade for a cab tractor, I'm gonna ask you. I just can't stop smiling and acting like a kid in a candy shop every time I climb into one at a dealership. But my M6800 will do me fine for now. I bought it back in 03. I adjusted the weight tension on the seat then...

    Look what came today

Bulldog, I see you discovered the only other thing he'll spend money on. He'll have the big head now. LOL

    Look what came today

:DLooks good dude. I should have figured you'd have pics on here. Now take it and put it in the mud and dirt somewhere.

    Daughter Missing

You're doing the best you can. Hang in there. Glad she is safe. I heard a doctor once say that "adolescence is schizophrenia with a good prognosis".

Why do I worry so much about grass?

Yeah it's a Vermeer Rebel 5410. I will send up a pic just as soon as I get it out of that dark shed. I had a Hesston and let's just say that I got to crawl up inside of that baler with a knife more times than I want to remember.

    Useful Charts!

I'm waiting for somebody to get on here and ask how big of a tractor does it take to lift #7

M6800 Shuttle doesn't shift without clutch

My tractor's shuttle shift lever got out of adjustment. I would put it into either forward or reverse and it would literally just sit there or barely move. And if I put it back into neutral and and shifted it back into forward or reverse with some force, then it would go. Otherwise, it just...

M6800 Shuttle doesn't shift without clutch

Does it seem to hesitate when you shift it into forward or reverse? I have the same tractor. I had a very similar problem. Not sure what you mean by having to hit the clutch to make it go. Do you mean the shuttle shift handle literally won't move without clutching it or do you mean pressing...

Why do I worry so much about grass?

Yeah my usual hay time in this part of the country (KY) is late may or early june. My grass is ready right now thanks to the April monsoon. I hate having to wait on the rain.
