    Engine locked up

I STRONGLY agree with turning the engine over by hand and NOT the starter, with either the glow plugs out or the injectors removed. Once you know the engine is free turning, then you could use the starter. When you look at old WWII Airforce pictures or film footage, you see ground crews hand...

    Overheating UTV 1120D

Was the engine ever left with the coolant hoses off? The reason I ask is that I had a 1950 Dodge dump truck that I bought years ago and mice had built a nest in the top tank of the radiator. The engine blew a head gasket on me when it over heated. It wasn't until I pulled the radiator out...

    Starting problem with L2350DT

Welcome... Have you checked the cleanliness of the battery posts to the clamps? Diesel starters demand a lot of current and a dirty or corroded battery post can give you problems. Since you just bought the tractor, do you know how old the battery is? Check the ground cable to where it hooks to...

    BX2200 no start

If you are getting a lot of white smoke when cranking, then it sounds to me that you are getting some fuel. Have you checked the glow plug circuit to see if they are getting power? Do you have a 12 volt test light?

    v1505 fuel stop solenoid questions

Do you hear it "Click" when you turn the key on to run? That's what I hear with my B3200 with the V1505 engine, NO smog junk.

    Scheduled hose replacement?

I have a Kubota D650 cc powered Onan generator. It has 2100 hours on it when I bought it. It still had all of the original coolant hoses on it. I replaced them all, but they were still all pliable and would have run a lot longer. I have a 2010 B3200 with low hours on it and I don't intend on...

    L4240 power steering hose

On my B3200, there is a separate part of the main hydraulic pump that is for the power steering only. I wouldn't use the tractor with it leaking.

    Kubota Safety Switches Help?

I have a 2009 B3200 and I have had the PTO switch give me a "NO crank" issue. It must be adjusted okay because I had accidentally moved the lever part way toward engagement. Pulled it back and it started.

    Kubota 1550 hst compression issue

Glad to hear it is starting well. I don't know the size and thread pitch of the D805 head bolt. What's wrong with the head bolt?

    CONPRESION TEST RESULTS?

Have you checked the valve clearance on the engine? Yes I know your compression went up with oil in the cylinder but the oil can also seal a slightly leaky valve.

    Kubota 1550 hst compression issue

Ronnie, how is the engine running now? Will it start on just glow plugs and run okay? Haven't heard back from you on the site. It helps others when you report back.

    Kubota 1550 hst compression issue

Will it run now? Run it at 1500 rpm (+-) and vary the engine speed. Try to drive it for a while and vary the RPM. Glad the heat gun worked. Hopefully when it is broke in, in a few hours run time, it will start on its own. Keep me posted. Change your oil and filter after 3-5 hours of run time. NO...

    Kubota 1550 hst compression issue

The engines can be a bugger to initially start. Are you sure you are bled out well on the injectors? PARRALLEL, positive to positive and negative to negative, another battery to the tractor's battery from a car or truck with the car or trucks engine running and keep the starter engaged while it...

    Kubota 1550 hst compression issue

First off is, WELCOME! 320psi should be enough to get the engine started and running. The compression pressures are to be between 337-448 psi. Have you tried to start the engine yet? With glow plugs, DON'T use starting ether spray. I have used a hot hair drier into the engine air intake to help...

L6060 Air Conditioning Clutch Not Engaging (somewhat random at this point)

You may have 12 volts with a test light but do you have the amperage needed to pull in the magnetic clutch? If the clutch is actuated through a relay, it might be a good idea to replace the relay as the points in the relay can be partially burned and not passing the amperage.
