Thanks everyone , i think the culprit was the wiring going to the solenoid. I cleaned it and seems to be fine now.

This morning it started with just the key. After running for a bit it would not start. When I jumped the starter and all it did was make a whiring sound and did not engage on the flywheel, I then got in the tractor and it started by the key, electrical stuff is very confusing for me.

All connections have been cleaned, i put in a brand new battery. Is the solenoid behind the steering column inside the cab?

When i jump the starter it will start. Where should i look next? Starter relay? I get a loud clicking under the dash and it puts a huge strain on my battery when i do not jump the starter

I have a L4610, does the air conditioner belt loop over the idler wheel on the right side of the engine? My belt is very loose and almost at the end of adjustment, and i noticed an idler wheel that i think the belt goes over to add tension. Thanks

I have a L4610 and when it gets below freezing my joystick freezes making it difficult to use the loader. how would I address this issue? I was thinking of drilling a small hole in each cable and heating it up with a hair dryer until water drains out. Any better idea's??

Anyone have a 3ph backhoe on a L4610 I am thinking about putting a 650lb bush hog 3ph backhoe on my L4610. Has anybody tried one? Thanks

Thanks I will have a look and put some heat on the cables with a hair dryer, that's what I was thinking water somewhere in the cables. We are talking minus 25c up here Eh!

I have a L4610, the joystick in the cold is very hard to move. When I raise the bucket it keeps going and I have to force it to stop. The tractor has a cab. Does the joystick need some kind of lubricant? Does the joystick operate the valve body with cables? Thanks Mopar2ya

Sometimes when I try to start my L4610 I have to get out and shake wires near starter. I have lights on dash but does not turn over. Looks kind of tight in there to get at. Any suggestions before I start taking it apart???
