BX25D has a clogged nose (fuel filter)!!!

I considered taking the tank off and cleaning it out but man, that's a huge ordeal. Instead I relocated the primary fuel filter up by the front axle and started treating with biocide. At least it's easy to inspect and clean now without having to crawl under the tractor. Eventually the crud...

    BX2380 engine / fuel issue?

-edit- nvm, I didn't read past the first page. I also installed the Boyd welding clean out port on my BX and did the fuel filter upgrade and relocation to address the same problem. The tank plugs up really easily on these, but at least now I can clean it out and purge the lines easily without...

BX25D has a clogged nose (fuel filter)!!!

I just tilted the seat up and put the hole there. There's a flat section there right above the outlet fitting.

BX25D has a clogged nose (fuel filter)!!!

I just finished doing the same on my BX. I've been having issues with the fuel line/filter clogging up at least once a year. I always use clean fuel and have a mesh strainer in the filler neck, but it still plugs up. My theory is that some part of the fuel level sending unit is rusting or...

ZG227 Control Handles Move Closer Help

Sorry to hear about the stroke, hope you recover fully and quickly. My zg227 doesn't have an adjustment to move the bars inward or outward. In fact the service manual suggests bending them against the stop if they're too close / don't clear each other. Maybe considering switching to a lawn...

    Replacement Seat

Maybe take this opportunity to upgrade to a suspension seat? For about $350 you can get one of the mechanical suspension set ups on eBay or Amazon

BX2380 mower deck won’t lock out on “top”

That's odd that it won't rotate into "top" even with the deck off. Usually the deck is what hangs on the ramp to prevent it from turning. You'll have to get under there with a flashlight and see what's up. With the deck off does the knob spin easily and then hit a hard stop, or is it hard...

    ZD1211 fixed axle pins

I'm in SE Texas too and the humidity is hell on the close tolerance steel on steel fitments. For example the ROPS is frozen solid on both my tractor and mower. I've given up trying to bang them loose.

Kubota ZD1211 zero turn - transmission fluid extraction silliness

Those disposable aluminum roasting pans are low profile and available everywhere for cheap. I've used them many times for oil changes on low vehicles

    Mower Blades Hit RCK54P

Sorry for the late reply, I forgot about this thread. I ended up replacing the blades, dust cups, spring washers and hex washers on all three blades. The spindles were all removed, cleaned and reinstalled. I also loosened all the bolts on the gearbox mounts and retorqued in order according to...

    Rusting due to dew/humidity?

I've had good luck with lanolin based products like fluid-film. You definitely need air flow/ventilation to keep the humidity down. Putting a cover over the equipment often makes it worse in my experience.

Runs good then almost dies, then takes off again

A quick, temporary fix might be to unhook the fuel line at the filter and blow air back up into the tank.

    Mower Blades Hit RCK54P

So I think I found my problem. When looking at the blade hubs I noticed the center hub doesn't appear to be fully seated in the spindle. I removed it and cleaned the surfaces but it still won't sit down. I can't even get the snap ring back in, the hub won't slide far enough to expose the...

    Mower Blades Hit RCK54P

Thank you. Are the blade hubs these circular steel pieces held on by the snap rings?

    Mower Blades Hit RCK54P

I know this is an old thread, but I'm having a very similar problem on my 54" pro deck. I bought the mower secondhand and the cut quality has been terrible. I tried a set of new OEM blades today and the center blade is rubbing/touching one side of the right blade as they pass. There is also...
