    D1105 Rebuilt - now won't run.

It's that time of year again where I get time to work on this engine. I've got the thing running so here's an update for all who might be interested. I've been installing the pump with the control lever in the wrong position. As you may know, there is a fork that moves from side to side to...

Kubota D1105 exhaust out of injector inlet!

I've spoken to the company and I'm sending the injector back for an exchange.

Kubota D1105 exhaust out of injector inlet!

As far as I can tell from all the dots lining up correctly, all the timing is fine. It fires up and runs for a second then cuts out. The problem is 100% exhaust coming out of the injector inlet into the fuel line, I have video of this but it wont upload to here. I'll upload to youtube and link...

Kubota D1105 exhaust out of injector inlet!

Hi Lugbolt Compression is 420psi on all 3. I should mention that this is a carry on from this post: https://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/threads/d1105-rebuilt-now-wont-run.47148/ You may remember having input on this thread. I finally got round to ordering new injectors, but the problem...

Kubota D1105 exhaust out of injector inlet!

After a full rebuild the engine would start then cut out, and air would be in the fuel rail. Lots more cranking and the same would happen. I took off the diesel rail pipes and cranked the engine and bubbles were coming out of the injector inlet, obviously feeding "air" back into the rail. I...

    D1105 Rebuilt - now won't run.

Just did a compression test and all 3 cylinders are coming out at 420psi. It's only a cheap kit so might be reading lower than the actual pressure, but the main thing is they are all exactly the same. I had the injector feed and return pipes disconnected and noticed that there is pressure...

    D1105 Rebuilt - now won't run.

Bottle feeding did not help. I'm thinking it may be to do with the governor and the fork not moving the control lever enough. But I don't know enough about it. I'm wondering if something got damaged or moved while at the machine shop. I didn't strip all of that down, as I didn't see the need to...

I've also ordered a compression testing kit. It's bound to come in handy with my other diesel vehicles. It should arrive next week.

    I've made the bottle.

I'll give it a go if I can find a way of connecting a fuel hose to a bottle.

Sorry Wolfman Just read your message. I've not tried that yet. Do you mean have the bottle higher than the engine to gravity feed it, so there's no need for a lift pump?

    D1105 Rebuilt - now won't run.

Thanks for the heads up RCW, I can see theres a LOT of knowledge on here. Whitetiger - It does have an electric fuel cut solenoid, I have tried it without and it still won't run. I was getting red hot though, so I've ordered a new one. I could also see the pin popping in and out. Lugbolt -...

    D1105 Rebuilt - now won't run.

I've not really had a chance to take another look, just replaced all the fuel lines and did a lot of bleeding, but no real progress. I really need to borrow a pressure tester before anything else. I'ts all a bit too frustrating at the moment. I'll keep everyone posted for sure!

    D1105 Rebuilt - now won't run.

I was tired and it was getting dark yesterday so I had a closer look this morning in the light, and it seems to be firing somewhere at the top of compression cycle as 'Jim L' stated. I'm starting to think that it's air getting in to the fuel lines. I'm going to replace all hoses with new, and...
