What is going on , with this site?

Try the DuckDuckGo browser, and turn on tracking protection. It will tell you a lot about who's tracking you and what apps are allowing the tracking.

    Cracked block - fixable?

Well, if you are going to go that route, make sure you clean it cleaner than you think is possible.

    BX23s Fuel Pump opinions wanted

This. Some parts should be replaced with OEM only. The very basic lift pumps on these tractors are NOT on that list. They are brain-dead simple and very easy to change. Now, IMO, the actual high pressure pump would be OEM only. But not that stupid little lift pump. It's got a very...

    Snowblower not throwing very far

I'm thinking the impeller is just fine and more blades won't help at all. You need SPEED. What RPM are you running? If you are running at good RPM, maybe a small modification would help. (But get the speed up, first!)

    Too many misplaced commas.

    Any ya'll sharpen knives?

Yep. Been using that for a bit more than 4 decades. I once sharpened some filleting knives for my boss. He would go fishing with his doctor buddy on the doctor's (very nice) boat. Said doctor was a head and neck surgeon. When they got back from their fishing trip, the doctor said the...

    Learn how to diagnose electrical

Even among auto and equipment techs, people who actually understand electricity are pretty rare.

    Learn how to diagnose electrical

Yep. No load vs. loaded are two different worlds. This confuses a lot of people. Loaded vs. no load is why I like to use BOTH a test light AND a multimeter. That's an excellent video.

    A Fire A Day

Sadly, these days Made in USA doesn't guarantee quality. The Europeans are doing a lot of things better than we are. :( Their building methods are much better than ours, just as one example. Wall Street has too much power, and they don't care about anything long term. All they care about...

    A Fire A Day

Yes, you certainly can. That ignorance is all over the Internet! It's still wrong. You can take the word of a widespread old wive's tale that has no basis in fact, or you can read some of the many controlled studies that address the question based on science, rather than rumor. Your choice...

    A Fire A Day

I can't say I have ever heard anything but good about a Jotul, except when it was clearly operator error, but blaming the stove. I have an ancient Grandpa Bear Fisher stove, and I get 12-14 hours routinely, stuffed full and choked down. Yes, that makes creosote. I also clean my chimney...

    A Fire A Day

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with burning pine. It does NOT cause more creosote than other kinds of woods. That is an old wive's tale. Pound for pound, there is almost NO difference in the creosote production from one species to another, hardwood OR softwood. It's not about WHAT you...

    CORN!

Yep... I've tried all kinds of traps (ever see a blacksnake caught in a glue board?) and I have given up. I put out the poison, refresh it regularly, and I'll deal with the occasional stinker in the walls. Everything else is, A) too much work, and, B) not very effective.

    Is this zerk broken?

Probably a lot more effective, too!
