    12 V 30 amp supply from L6060 to sander?

30 amps? I'd pull it directly from the battery and add a relay to control it. Check your length to ensure you use a large enough wire. Cig lighter plugs are usually 10 amps. I have seen a few 20s. I would not attempt 30.

    Patch hydraulic hose? Or replace?

Theoretical, conceivably possible. But that's not the smart bet.

    Patch hydraulic hose? Or replace?

Allow me to rephrase for clarity: Yes, I agree with you. There is no one right answer. And learning things the hard way is certainly a valid choice. Just make sure you fully understand the implications of each choice.

Tire Ballast Hurt or help on Snowy Hills?

Can I borrow some of them? The coyotes, I mean. Preferably very hungry....

Tire Ballast Hurt or help on Snowy Hills?

You a You are fooling yourself. It's not the chains. It's the cat that is adding the traction. ;)

    Found off-road diesel

I don't know about other states, but in Virginia, the state does not issue "Farm Use" license plates. You can buy them at any farm store and many hardware stores. They are completely unofficial. It's really a big scam. There are plenty of people who just don't register their regular...

Maintenance Inquiry: Excessive Resistance in Driver's Side Window Regulator - Kubota RTV 1100C

Welcome! I don't know your particular vehicle, but I think you'll find there's a panel that can be pulled off, and the guts of the mechanism will be pretty obvious. Window mechanisms are pretty simple and pretty much common. There's likely a track that can get gunked up, and the lube points...

Tire Ballast Hurt or help on Snowy Hills?

Larger tires of the same profile will have a larger contact patch. A larger contact patch means you will spread the weight out more. That's not what you want on snow over asphalt. You want to bite in. That's why chains or studs work. They concentrate the weight on small points to bite in...

    Sunfire Heaters Anyone?

Ah, I misspoke. I meant to say propane or LNG. We have both around here. But my occasional use would not justify the initial expense for.... probably beyond my lifetime.

    Sunfire Heaters Anyone?

No gas where I live, unless I want to install propane or LPG. Mind you, there's a very high pressure gas line (lots of warning signs along its route) that runs across our state just a couple of miles from me, but it is not available for any local distribution. :( On the other hand, it's...

BX23S Low voltage on wire to starter solenoid

Classic symptoms of resistance in the circuit, usually cause by corrosion. Find the bad connection. Yes, the original relay could be the culprit. Anything that is in series could be the culprit.

    Sunfire Heaters Anyone?

You can't do that. It's way too simple, and besides, I'm sure there are experts who will tell you it can't be done and won't work and will probably curdle your milk and make your cat go blind. And now I have another project on my list! :D

    Rebuilding a hydraulic pump on a M6800?

I don't know enough about the question to have an opinion, but that statement intrigued me. So I did what we do these days - I did a search and read a bunch of information. I found companies offering rebuilds, so apparently it CAN be done (at least on some pumps). I also found a bunch of info...
