relief valve was probably open because fluid was dead heading with the steer lines being reversed that is a fact

bad nylon or rubber orings inside spool replace them I dont know if they are in these but I have pulled many a spool in my time and found bad nylon ring in alot of them . Now that was in heavy equipment never in a tractor.

flow rate is that what you are saying. The priority spool if it is stuck one way the fluit may not be getting to steering side. I bought the jailbreak system and had not known the pump presure before I got the kit because I did not have a guage but now that I do the presure is reading low so...

yep bspp with o ring and the sump is kinda the whole hydrstatic trans. except where the valves are.

There is a plug on the right side above the axle that plug sits just higher than the dip stick on the back so I am going to use that for my return to tank line. I pulled plug and it will work great Ill let you know how it works out when I get it plumbed up.
