I have Z422KWT with the 60” deck. It’s been in service since 2022 and other than routine maintenance I had to replace a front wheel assembly. There wasn’t any tires in inventory so I bought the next higher assembly. It has been very reliable for the last four seasons.

That’s only true if the seat is occupied, brake on, both levers in neutral and PTO is off. Starting isn’t the issue, keeping it running is. Pulling out either lever with the brake on will kill the running engine.

With it running, brake set and the seat occupied pull one arm out. The engine should die. Repeat for the other arm. Engine should die. You’re testing for a faulty HST switch. If it stays running troubleshoot the faulty side. The 50 hour start/opc test in the OM is a good troubleshooting check.

Hopefully parts chucking solves the problem. In case it doesn’t: Have you inspected the wiring? A chaffed, always hot, wire contacting a chaffed intermittent hot, attached to a relay or switch, can cause voltage to pass to a circuit that should be cold. Don’t rule out a shorted relay socked...

I’ve used Opti-Lube XPD, Boost and Winter in my Kubota tractors and ’14 6.7 Powerstroke since 2014. No problems in 12 years of usage.

Once you get the loader ironed out make sure you get the bucket you want. Light, heavy duty or multipurpose with 3rd function.

On a side note I hope your dealer gave you the option of using an older mmm version as a customer service. Kubota offers an adapter kit that allows the RCK60-30BA to be used under the LX3520/4020 instead. This kit is added to your LXxx20 mmm installation kit.

Have you tried bypassing (jumper cable) the negative/ground cable or clean the frame/block side where it attaches? You stated you’re losing 6 volts.

Kubota sent me a new cap back in 2018 for a BX2370 I owned. It was a fix (service bulletin) for a venting issue of the recovery tank cap. Maybe someone didn’t get the memo.
