Update. After warming the tractor up and sitting at an idle AND slightly turn the steering wheel the noise goes away. I am thinking this is not an air in oil issue but maybe a regulator issue. I’ll update with anything further.

I don’t plan on tearing into it. I’m just trying to understand it’s purpose and function and how it is different than a pressure relief.

Yes I was talking about the relief, not regulator. Thanks for uploading pictures for clarification. I bet is on the regulator. Now to find out what that does and what’s inside.

I didn’t know there was a regulator there. I don’t know what it does aside from what’s in the name. do you have an exploded view of that? also where do I get my hands on the a digital workshop manual? I can’t find anyone that sells one.

Yes, all the hydraulics function normally. If I’m not mistaken, the relief for that pump is underneath the tractor not on the pump. The noise is definitely coming from the pump.

Thank to all who responded. I purposefully left out whether there were any symptoms on the Tractor because I want to know in general is that amount of air in the hydraulic oil OK or not? or maybe it is sometimes. I am beginning to think it is normal for the L2502HST. I checked the hydraulic oil...

There’s no water in the oil. Here is the same cup of oil after sitting. The oil level is normal.
