L4060 Air-Ride Seat for PTO Use

That sounds interesting...going to have to think about how to make that work.

L4060 Air-Ride Seat for PTO Use

Evidently the air-ride seats don't flip up. I'm going to call the service department where I bought my tractor to see if they know what the approved method is.

L4060 Air-Ride Seat for PTO Use

I wouldn't mind doing this if I could figure out the circuit...sounds like a winter project. What would be nice is to wire in an alarm that would sound if I had it in bypass when the PTP is not engaged as a reminder to reactivate the dead-man safety feature.

L4060 Air-Ride Seat for PTO Use

Thanks. I ended up putting a towel on the seat and then placing a log on it. The log couldn't have weighed much more than 10-15 lbs. but it was enough to override the seat switch. I was surprised by this as I figured the dead-man switch would require at least 80-100 lbs.

L4060 Air-Ride Seat for PTO Use

Hello, I have a 2015 kubota L4060 and plan to do some woodchipping this weekend. I have had the tractor for about 6 months now but this will be the first time using the chipper. I knew from reading the Kubota manual that I would have to lift the seat in order to use a wood chipper so that that...

Hey skeets...we used to live up in your area. I was stationed in Pittsburgh from '93-'96 and my kids went to North Hills. In fact, my son was on the same football team as LaVar Arrington (LaVar was a year older than my son and even then, he was a man amongst boys). We loved our time up in PA but...

Thanks for the welcome...it will be "trial by fire" for awhile but, as long as I can stay safe and not damage my equipment, I'll be happy.

Thanks Ray...fortunately, it is very flat on my property but you definitely have given me some things to think about, especially related to tree removal as I have a lot of that to do. Earlier this year my wife and I went to a tractor safety course. The instructor said that since the...

Hi Ray, Thank you to you and your wife for your service! Your comment about the owner's manual is something I had wondered about and now you verify what I had suspected. Earlier this year I went to a tractor safety course which was pretty informative but it was not an indepth "operators"...

Hi James, Nice to hear from a fellow Houstonian! When we were stationed here before we lived just across the lake from you in Atascocita. We thought about buying up there but my job is located at Ellington Field so we decided to live south this time. I will certainly enjoy the toys when they...

Hello everyone! Didn't really see a new member area so thought I would introduce myself here. For those that I have met already on TractorByNet, this is for the most part a cut-and-paste from what I posted there. As an introduction, I am a retired active duty Coast Guard/Navy (29 years CG/4...
