Now that the ice is gone I removed the heat tape so it will be at ambient. I have the heat tape set at 35 F so is probably cooled off in 5 minutes.

Worked like a charm. 12 F here overnight. Bone dry this AM

I don’t think so, a lot going on in this small space. I put the heat tape on it today. 17 outside right now and dropping so I’ll know in the morning if my idea worked.

Ice will form at this location in cold temps. Planning to put heat tape on it at a low temp when parked in the garage. Anyone think this is a bad idea?

Ray, Have you figured out if this will work? I have a BX 2380 with a Curtis cab set up for snow blowing. I had back surgery and the jarring is not working for me and was looking at this seat as an option. Thanks!

Rusty I did see some folks posting about that when looking for a photo so I could see how it is supposed to look. Looks like my hardware that connects the wiper prematurely wore out and/or vibrated loose and my wiper blade simply fell off.

Thanks, the whole arm didn't come off, just the wiper blade itself detached from the arm. I can't find any photos of how it is assembled. It appears that one pin sheared off and some other hardware vibrated loose and disappeared into the snow. But I can't find any photos and Curtis' parts...

After about an hour of use over the last year, my front windshield wiper on my BX80 Curtis Cab just fell off tonight. It appears part of the connecting hardware failed. Can someone post a photo so I can try and scrounge up some hardware and reattach? The Curtis parts diagram is not helpful. Thanks!
