    M9960 HST Sensor Wiring

They were able to find the connector. The rat drug it off to a corner of the shop and left it. It's pretty much unmolested and we're trying to figure out how it was able to press the release and separate the connection. Thanks PoTreeBoy for your help. The schematic you sent let me figure out...

    M9960 HST Sensor Wiring

Still waiting to hear whether he sees any numbers on it. I’m thinking if you put the metal actuator on the bottom and the connector release on the top it’s 1-4 left to right. I’d probably try that before spending $1000+ bucks on a new harness.

    M9960 HST Sensor Wiring

I’ll be talking to the guy where the tractor is this evening. I asked him to look for any numbers, maybe 1-4 if we could be that lucky. If there are no numbers my best guess is that the #1 pin is on the left looking down on the connector with the release on the top. in just hope he finds the...

Also, the part number ending in 2 is the updated part. Same thing.

    M9960 HST Sensor Wiring

Here's what's left. The colors look just as you described and you're probably right about it being an accelerator sensor. The owner said it's on the side of the idle control that let's you run at a constant RPM. We can get the female pins to fit the males in the sensor, we just don't know...

    M9960 HST Sensor Wiring

Agreed. The part that the missing pigtail is connected to shows up as "Sensor, HST" on the schematic and parts list for the M9960HDC. The part (TD170-52300) shows as fitting 126 Kubota tractors and is listed on some of them as "Switch/Sensor (Engine)", or "Sensor (Transmission Case/HST)" or...

    M9960 HST Sensor Wiring

Thanks! I'll look at their connectors. Still have to figure out what color goes to what pin, but that's a step in the right direction.

    M9960 HST Sensor Wiring

Helping a friend with his M9960HDC. Rats chewed the male connector from his HST sensor and ran off with it. Kubota want to sell him a $1000 harness. Assuming we can't find what's left of the connector we're going to pull the sensor and go shopping for 4 pin connectors or just solder wires to...
