    I contacted the service dept. of 2 local dealerships and 1 out of state dealerships service dept. ( Large online presence) all had similar response - new seal is "Better" but had no real insight as to what improvements were made ...It sounds as though you may have contact info for Kubota...

    It was an N.O.S. in original Kubota packaging....A bit rough but appears functional..

    Do you have some insight as to what if any improvements have been incorporated in the up graded seal??? The 3 dealership service dept. were vague at best..

    Don't have a picture handy but it's just your standard run o the mill zerk..Exactly like the front mount zerk only without the breather plug to allow grease to flow once full.

    So I don't want to admit how much grease I pumped into the rear pivot support ( 1.5 tubes) " until grease overflows" as per the POS service manual but needless to say it never appeared... So now the question is what adverse affects may occur from all that grease and how would it be removed...
