    location of HST filter BX1880?

    Thanks for the reply. The filter is on the rright side of the belly pto shaft under a skid plate. Had to remove the tires to use an impact wrench to remove the skid plate bolts which were on very tight. Got it done, thanks again.

    I want to thank all for the responses to my questions about turning the height adjustment dial. I need to lower the mower to access the linkage. I want to remove the mid mower and not sure how the drive shaft disconnects. Does it just slide off the shaft? Does it have a keeper pin/clip...

    Cutting height control dial will not turn.

    I just purchased a BX1880 with 86 hours and a mower attached. I am not sure which direction to turn the control dial to lower the mower? The mower is about 5 inches off the gorund. I do not want to break the dial or twist the shaft. I will have to use some large pliers to turn the plastic dial.
