New L 3800 tool box fell off

The tool box on my L3800 fell off and was lost filling some low spots on my property. I found a replacement that I like much better, but I need to know what the threads are on the bracket. Anyone know? TIA

    Box Blade Setup

I have a 60" box blade on a B7800. Is there a way to stop it from swinging from side to side?

    Box blade & B7800

60" gives me about 3" outside of each rear tire. The tractor is 4wd, and has a FEL. I was planning to carry a load of either sand or gravel in the loader bucket to put more weight on the front drive axle.

    Box blade & B7800

Box Blade weighs ~ 420# I will be using it to remove some top soil; and fill & level sand and then gravel. I have no plans to try to tear out compacted gravel or anything like that.

    Top Link issues

Well it took about 10 minutes total to make all 4 ends (2 top links) the right size. I tried to take an equal amount off of either side so as to keep the spherical bushing centered. FYI: I used a large belt sander with a 36 grit belt. The platen on the sander kept the ends nice and square!

    Top Link issues

I recently purchased a couple of adjustable top links from TSC. They were listed as category 1. The issue is the spherical bushings on the ends. They measure ~1.75 end to end; BUT the top link bracket on my 7800 is 1.5 inside. I can shorten the spherical bushings without too much trouble and...

    LA402 Valve problem

I have the rebuild kit for the valve, and I am heading north to go through the valve on Thursday night. Any tips? Suggestions? The parts look pretty straightforward. From what I can gather from examining the parts in the kit and the diagrams; it's basically take the cover off, replace a couple...

    farm diesel

I was under the impression that all diesels could use the ULSD, and that the problems were with newer engines running older formulations of fuel. It is also my understanding that the problems were not with the engines themselves, but the exhaust after treatment systems installed on "on road"...

    Got stuck in 4wd?

It's normal. Locking the front axle on anything can be very dangerous to the operator. About the only vehicles with locking front axles that I am aware of are heavily modified "off road ONLY" jeeps and the like. Thumbs can get broken by the steering wheel going over rocks etc. Go ahead, ask me...

    HP Questions

A very similar discussion comes up frequently on one of the Corvette forums that I visit. HP is the result of a mathematical calculation. It is defined as work done divided by time. 1HP= 33,000 Ft. Pounds / minute. The reduction in the HP number from flywheel (rated HP) to PTO is a direct...

    LA402 Valve problem

The one on the right. Are rebuild kits available? How difficult is it to rebuild?

    LA402 Valve problem

I was in the storage facility where the tractor is over the weekend, and can add the following: It is a 4 spool valve (both caps are the same length, assuming that I am looking at the caps). It has been fairly cold -4 to around +10 F for the lows. The tractor is inside, but the area is...

    adding a log splitter

Sorry. It would go on a B7800 with a LA402 loader

    adding a log splitter

Bulldog: Yes I have a loader Babyfat: I was thinking that may be the case. I was trying to minimize the initial cost associated with the additional hydraulics. Any recommendations as to manufacturer?
