    stump bucket vs 3-py auger

The company removing them isn't really local to me. I appreciate the thought though. You make a good point about those augers being expensive.

    stump bucket vs 3-py auger

Yeah, I saw a video from Good Works Tractors. He designed his own stump bucket for SCUTs and it only only has 18" bucket depth. He said he designed it that way to help prevent damage to small tractors. I think to use a stump bucket correctly you need to focus on the curl function, not lifting or...

    stump bucket vs 3-py auger

I'm going to be given several large shrubs and a Japanese maple this fall. I don't really want to dig those holes in clay soil by hand. I'm not going to buy a backhoe, though I would love to have one. I could rent a mini excavator for around $450-$500 (for a day). Of course, then I wouldn't have...

    B2782B Snowblower on B2601

Sadly, events conspired against me. A brake line broke on my truck Tuesday. Pickup of items was limited to during the day Thursday. Since I had no way to pick it up, I didn't bid. I definitely would have bid on the one that sold for $275.

    B2782B Snowblower on B2601

I appreciate everyone's reply! I may have to go for it. The current bid on the one in the photo is $55.00. Still 3 days to go though. Prices always go crazy as it's closing. I wish I could see it in person, but inspection time is in the middle of the workday.

    B2782B Snowblower on B2601

I just looked up k-connect. That's a slick 4-point hitch system. It looks like it runs $1k on the Kubota configuration page. I didn't realize the blower was old as that model is still available on the Kubota website as well. I appreciate your input. 🍻

    B2782B Snowblower on B2601

A local auction has some B2782B snowblowers. One of them looks pretty new. I know it isn't snow season anymore (at least not here).🙃 The B2782B is listed as compatible with my B2601. But, does anyone know how likely it is that the subframe (k-connect?) will also fit or whether I'll need to buy...

    BX23s MMM linkage problems.

Isn't there a place for a pin to hold the mid-mount linkage up? I don't pin mine, but I think I read about it somewhere.

    LED headlight Bulb

I put LED's in my 2601 headlights (as well as added light bar/cubes). Someone on another thread mentioned that LED's may not produce enough heat to melt snow off of the lens, making your lights ineffective in a snowstorm. I don't have enough snow experience with mine to definitively say one way...

    Rear Floodlight On A LX2610?

First, you need to find out how much load your lights will draw if you have them all on at the same time. As stated in other posts above, the light circuit under the fender is only rated for 5A.

Mounting new LED lights on B2650HSD

I came really close to using Click-Bond studs to mount my lights. They are held on with an epoxy adhesive. Ultimately, they were a bit more than I wanted to spend. Click-Bond sells them in large lots, so you have to buy them from resellers. Check out how strong they are here. I used magnets for...

    Rear Floodlight On A LX2610?

Speaking as someone who recently installed LEDs on my B... There is one advantage to running halogens over LEDs for winter work. As mentioned above, halogens will create a lot of heat. The snow will melt off of the lamp. I haven't used mine in winter yet, but other lighting posts (I believe here...

    Spl0560 snow pusher

Based on this "I have a B2601 but the quick hitch on the FEL is the same correct?" in the original post, I'm assuming he has the ssqa loader. For those not up on the lingo... ssqa = skid steer quick attach

    Spl0560 snow pusher

My guess for the "BX only" is that the ssqa isn't built onto the implement. It is an optional bolt-on attachment. You can see that it is originally set up for a BX with the single curl cylinder and so wouldn't fit any other tractor. However, your photo shows it includes the ssqa adapter. With...

    Tractor Newbie

^^^^THIS. I have 5+ acres. I needed something to mow about 2+ acres (rest is trees), move snow, landscape, process firewood. My B2601 works great for mowing, but is a bit bigger than necessary. It's just right for moving truckloads of dirt, stone, etc. quickly, while being small enough to...
