Thanks, I'm coming up on 600 hours and have already done the big job of changing oil and hydraulic fluids. I'll just add valve adjustment to the list. From what I've heard, good to check it, but no need to get panicky. It can probably wait a couple more months when its warmer and dryer.

Lugbolt, thanks for the quick reply. If I'm hearing you right, even if I adjust the valve clearances or make other repairs to potentially fix the problem, it may not go away. Yet the tractor will still work well even with the ticking noises. Winter and snow blowing is hopefully about done...

Interesting. I never thought about making them adjustable widths. I don't really need them to lift pallets or anything other than lumber and mounting them on the sides of the bucket worked better for me as there would be no deflection on the bucket. Cleaver design if you need that adjustability.
