Does anybody know if they made a few different water pumps for the d1005? I had a cracked timing cover, found a used one, put it on and everything is exactly the same until I went to swap the water pump. Everything lined up except one bolt. The hole is off by maybe 1/16-1/8 inch. I’m afraid to...

Anybody have any tips on pulling out the little heat shield cups under the injectors without removing the head? Tried heating them up, and using a thick pick but they won't come out. Don't want to damage them. Thank you.

Thanks guys I'm gonna check it out this afternoon. The motor is free for sure, like I said I barred it over checking the timing. I'm gonna go thru all the wiring. I appreciate the help, I'll let you know what I come up with.

I've got a b2100 that cranks and cranks, blows black smoke, but doesn't want to start. It cranks slow even with a good battery. I pulled the injectors and had them tested and they're good. Glow plugs are fine. Compression is good. If I put 200 amps to it, the starter will get going fast enough...

Filter is right with only new seal in it. When you look down in the fill hole with the hitch down the oil stream coming out of the control valve is clean oil. When I raise it nothing comes out then at draft you can hear it swishing while it jumps up and down and it foams up from the turbulence...

It hunts at any height only when weight is applied. Even at the lowest point when I step on the arms it hunts. When you look down thru the fill hole it doesn't look excessively foamy. When you lower it the oil stream looks clean.

That's kinda what I was leanin toward. I didn't want to tear the housing off till I had been over every option. Doesn't look like it'll be to hard to rebuild the control valve. Thanks for your help.
