    kubota L2000DT

Hi all. I have a L2000DT that I may be looking to sell. It runs and drives fine and everything works but it blew a seal (hydraulic oil) internally and will have to be split. We are in the process of moving/looking for a house so I dont want to start this project. so I am asking what might this...

hydraulic fluid pouring out of hole L225DT

Well here is an update. I finally got over to the Kubota place to ask about my leak. Long story short, there is not supposed to be any fluid coming out of those holes. The holes are for the FEL to mount and its supposed to be dry in there. That means I had a seal blow on the transmission side...

hydraulic fluid pouring out of hole L225DT

well thanks for the replies. I should have taken a picture but didnt. Its a little drive to get up there. The vent idea makes alot of sense. I am most certain it is where the FEL would hook up. there are 2 vertical holes about 3 inches apart give or take. there is a swivel plate right between...

hydraulic fluid pouring out of hole L225DT

Hello, it has been a while. I wanted to ask about my hydraulic puking fluid. Went up to the property this morning to check on things. Tractor started which I was surprised. I drove it around a bit to charge battery and give it some use. I backed it up to the bush hog and when I stopped (tractor...

    inside out rims on L225

Hello all, question, I swapped rear wheels so they are inside out to help give a little wider foot print, also looks better IMO. Is this ok to do? or will it put too much strain on the rear axle assemblies? Approximately 5in more span.

    L2000DT key switch

Hello all, my key for the ignition switch keeps falling out. Is there an after market switch assembly available? I think it has 5 terminals and I have seen them for sale but wasnt sure any would work.

    wheel weights

Hello, just bought 2 suitcase weights for the front of my L2000DT. They are 30LBS each, which might be a tad small, but they were only $40 for pair. Is there a set of front wheel weights out there that will fit this tractor? If so where can I get them? Thanks.

Exactly what I was looking for, thanks! A couple of those metal tabs have broken off. Any ideas on replacements? Make them?

    wiring routing question

Hi all, getting the final touches done on the L2000DT. I bought some new amber fender light assemblies and am installing new wire from dash/console to fenders. I would like to know where to rout the wire, below the running board or along top by the shifter? because whoever did the wiring before...

    Side Gear Box disassembly

I got a shaft and some other side gear parts off E bay. The female yoke end of the front drive shaft is toast, along with the original shaft. Splines gone. I got an adapter 18 spline to 6 spline. Will have the end machined off and welded to the yoke, plus new shaft, good to go. I am interested...

    Side Gear Box disassembly

Thanks. Thats what I was hoping. I guess the bearing is just lightly pressed into the case? and a slide hammer set up will pop it out?

    Side Gear Box disassembly

I am needing to replace the spline shaft that comes out of the side gear box for the 4WD. I am wondering if anyone cane tell me if the shaft can be removed without removing the whole gear box. The shaft is #22, and I already removed the end plate #24. The manual I have says to disassemble it...

    L2000DT PTO operation

Yea thanks all. I drove the tractor around the yard without anything attached and put the PTO in gear and watched it spin, then pushed the clutch in and was totally amazed at how long it coasted before it stopped. That was with nothing attached.

    L2000DT PTO operation

Yes I know it has multiple speeds. Im not sure if it did it with PTO in neutral. Now that I think about it, I may have just had the clutch pushed in. Would that keep the PTO turning? I know there is "live PTO" and not but not sure the difference.
