Hello! I am getting a strange sound from my Z725 mower. It's not the engine, only sounds when the blades are engaged. I can't really describe the sound, but the machine makes the normal loud noises when the blades are engaged, and then it gets louder for for maybe three seconds, then it goes...

Dan, thanks for that info. I'd love to see a video on how to remove/install this so I can use the tractor for pulling a brush hog. I use the loader a lot but use the back hoe maybe once a year. But it sure is nice to have when you need it.

Well sure, it goes on the three point hitch, but I believe there is a different model that is much easier to hookup. Here is a video to a BH77 that looks waaaaay easier than mine.

This doesn't appear to be the 3 point backhoe. I agree that would be easier to take off and on.

Would you happen to know the part number for this and/or the grommet? I can't seem to find a diagram with this, but it is definitely the problem! My grommet disintegrated!

Thanks for the reply. I put the diagnosis in my original post. I don't know a lot about engines but I am pretty in tune with what it should sound like. When trying to start after the flames it made a kind of whomp, whomp, whomp sound. Definitely not what I'm used to hearing. I think he said...
