    Chainsaw safety

I have Labonville chaps, kevlar boots, wear a helmet, eye/ear pro and gloves. Still dangerous. Also have a tourniquet on my felling belt rig.

    Bucket TLC

Its a bucket. Mine has no paint on it anymore...rust on a number of spots...just get a grinder and buff the pitting rust off with a wire wheel and leave the rest. I would not waste the paint.

    L45 TLB

I had an M62, they are workhorse machines. I traded it in on a Cab L6060 and a KX040-4 excavator...better for my use case and I could afford to. The L45 is the middle size TLB, like the newer L47. These models typically have rear PTO, so you will want 3 PT link set if you plan on using that...

Warm up time in Winter vs. Summer

I wait until the needle moves into range on the engine temp. That is going to happen much quicker in the Summer. I dont let it get to Normal, but I make sure its moved past C before I start moving. Not sure if that is correct but its what I do. I also ease into the work until its at...

    Kubota electric tractor

I watched a FD handle an EV fire in a home garage..they hooked up to the flaming vehicle, dragged it out into the driveway, then put this massive blanket on it to starve of Oxygen. All traditional extinguishing agents dont work. After it was out they put it on a flatbed tow truck with the...

    Kubota electric tractor

Visibility looks fantastic. Maybe it will just have 360 deg cameras so you can react to whats going on around you a second after it happens. It basically looks like a lower profile Euro machine that they just threw an aerodynamic plastic cover on.

    Sidekick XG850 Battery?

Second on the Walmart batteries. I have had fairly good luck with them and they are very economical. Get a battery maintainer with the $$ you save.

    Which one would you choose?

We have 2 JD ZTs they have held up well also. Mow 2 acres at least every week in the green season.

Better yet maybe the OPs tractor becomes the parts tractor! Depends on which takes longer to get whole again!

    Mx6000 vs 7060

7060. I have a L6060 on my Mountain property/home and we have a M7060 on our 150 acre 4th gen cattle farm in TX. If you are doing field work, you want the 7060 with the 12 speed (if you want accurate crop seeding speeds). Front mount post hole digger - hydraulic flow out the front isnt...

    New or Used?

Thats why I recommended an excavator...that said if these are brushy type trees with really small stumps then I am sure a stump bucket would be fine.
