Guys thanks for all your ongoing input, note the PTO is working much better:) e.g. after the auction taken from the good advice received to date. so over the past week's of testing, we found the PTO still only works for up to a 1Hr+- from a cold start before it begins losing power and stopping...

Had the same issue we used a Hotair gum to warm 15-30 mins the outer pin area "NOT" the pin it self... works for us many time expand the hole...when pin is out grease pin&hole before replacing ... Don't use blow torch!

We have been testing the PTO and notice e.g. that after a hour or more the pressure at the valve test port gets gradually lower i.e. for each session run from cold the start pressure is 64+-psi after a hour or so of continued use the pressure drops to around 40+-psi, Note unlike before the PTO...

Progress!!! we now notch frame Fig6a, extracted valve Fig6b, drilled out 1mm hole it was partially blocked! Fig6c, replaced 2 new o-rings, PTO tests full operational again!, pressure @ the test port reading is now 64+-psi up from 32+-psi ...WSM (page 146) reference relief valve setting...

concur we assess the suggested approach...

ok ...we look into the possibility just now!... it could work, that said we would need to strip the top section down to the fuel tank etc... to get enough depth with say a 4inch disk on a small angle grinder ... that could be a option...thanks

NP! All input helps!... thank you the continued interest ... YES we are trying to get our hands on a Plasma Cutter... don't want to attempt with Blow Touch.

we recently fitted a new hydraulic pump with new o-rings and torque the pump bolts to WSM spec etc. hence we not be expecting o-ring, #80 to be a issue at this time ...
