    L345 Hydraulic/Transmission Fluid

That is likely due to clutch adjustment. The L345 has a double clutch (drive + pto) and your pto stage is not releasing properly. Adjusting to take out excessive clutch pedal free play should sort it out.

    Jerky 3-pt hitch - still a problem ??

The valve was about $90. I'll have to guess on the hoses and fittings until I get a chance to dig through my receipts in a week or so, but I'd guess I spent another $120 on those.

    Jerky 3-pt hitch - still a problem ??

I wish so too. The series refresh with the L3200/L3800 would have been a great opportunity to fix this. And yet the problem persists. I am glad the previous poster got a satisfactory outcome with a different tractor. That said, the crappy system can be improved with a bit of work. We bought a...

    Shifting a Kubota L2000DT (L225DT)

For what its worth, and despite the warning and recommendations pasted on that great big label on the dash, I shifted our old L345 on the fly for most of its life and never had a problem. The key to shifting without much (if any) grind at all is timing the shift. How fast you move the lever...

    Jerky 3-pt hitch - still a problem ??

If the suction tube is leaking, both the FEL and the 3PH will be acting up. Typically this problem will develop at some time when the tube cracks and starts to leak. The chronic jerky 3PH which affects some L-series affects just the 3PH, not the loader. Unlike the leaking suction hose, it is...

    What happened to Kubotabooks.com?

In this information age, I can't imagine too much web traffic being a bad thing. The site owner should monetize his site using Google ads or something...

Indexing the 3PH rock shaft with rocker.

Put it back together today. Thank you Eserv! I found the timing punch marks and it all went together nicely.

    Hydraulics ??? Experienced guys; Help!

Check and be sure your loader control valve is schematically after the tractors factory relief valve or else has its own relief valve set to the same system pressure. I am not familiar with your B6100 but i can just comment on the two Kubota's we have owned. Our old 1980's L345 has the relief...

Indexing the 3PH rock shaft with rocker.

Hello, I pulled a dumb move today and removed the rock shaft from the assembly without marking its relation to the rocker first. See pic. I need to index part 70 to part 80. I checked the service manual but could find any references to how to index it. I presume the initial position does...

    Industrial Wheel/Tire Swap-Kubota L3400

Not sure how many locals will see this... we are located in Chilliwack in the Fraser Valley, British Columbia. We have a 4wd Kubota L3400 with the upgrade R4 industrial wheel/tire set and are looking to trade for R1 Agriculture wheel and tire combo. R4 tires are wider, better for loader work...

    L3400 Jerky 3 Point

I definitely agree with the philosophy of proper diagnosis, and not replacing items willy nilly. I also know that these tractors do have a problem with the rubber section of the pump suction hose leaking. However, on the units affected by control valve woes, the jerky operation problem happens...

    L3400 Jerky 3 Point

I am in the middle of tackling this problem on my own recently acquired used L3400. Be sure you try the machine out in the yard (with an implement) and see how it is before you take delivery. For those not familiar with this problem, it is well covered in other tractor forums. The OP is...

    L1802DT 4x4 Not Engaging

I just recently had to troubleshoot a L345DT for the same problem. Not sure if your tractor would have similar design in transfer case internals to my L345DT, but I'll chime in anyway. See attached Pic. In my case the end of the shift lever (part with green arrow) had worn off where it...
