    12-16 ton dump trailers

I talked to my guy driving the tractor, he said he’s having to gear down going down to the culvert and the trailer is pushing. So we’re about the limit for weight and downhill grade without brakes. Gonna haul enough of this chert material to make it look like a highway before pouring concrete...

I ordered this one with no brakes at the advice of the manufacturer. They said if you use it a lot, high speeds, or going down hill loaded get brakes. If not, they are going to be problems with a lot of sitting. This sat since Feb then being used like a rented mule this weekend

    12-16 ton dump trailers

getting a ton of use out of this setup, had to replace a culvert that washed out. With the tailgate I’m able to put 14 yards in the trailer. Taking 30 min round trips like a champ. Really could have gone to the bigger trailer, tractor has no issues pulling it. Taking off in M4 then shifting to H...

    12-16 ton dump trailers

moved over 1000 yards of dirt in 2.5 days, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this size combo, (still wishing I went with a bigger trailer) but it works, and the quality is good. had a couple hiccups with them along the way, but I would buy from Bill again.

Not having any issues moving 10-11 yards of this cherty soil. Moved about 50 loads today so far. I think the tractor would handle the 16 ton trailer based on this performance. Trailer hasn’t missed a beat, and the walking beam suspension is awesome.

Got the M6-111 hooked to the trailer today, pulled the tailgate off. Put 11 yards of chert in it. Seems like it’s going to be a good combo. Will be running loads all day tomorrow and will have a couple of runs that are 1 mile each way so will be able to give honest feedback.

Weight of the trailer dose not count, I’ll put a full 10-12 tons in it. Pulling with m6-111 read the sheet posted above it says not to include weight of trailer.

    12-16 ton dump trailers

This is the 12 ton rated capacity model. Couldn’t really find any normal dump trailers that had this capacity without getting in to big triple axle goosenecks. I also got the hydraulic opening tail gate and quick removal options on this trailer

    B7100HST Grader blade size?

Just giving him an idea that a 72 is too much for a light weight 38 horse power tractor so I’d go smaller for the 17 horse power he has, maybe even down to a 48” box blade

    B7100HST Grader blade size?

we have the 72 behind a 2038R and its a little too much for that tractor, but a 60'' wasn't available, but I think the L6060 won't have any issues with it.

    12-16 ton dump trailers

Got a call from Berkleman's welding today, the industrial tires (back of photo) are stuck in Vancouver and he can ship my trailer with these style flotation tires instead. Im not seeing any downside to them being 18 ply and rated for 9500lb each. I was thinking the industrial tires may resist...
