How long do you guys wait after rain to brush hog with AG tires

Decided to run it. First time ever brush hogging. Took me an hour to connect the cutter to the tractor but now I know what I’m doing (kind of) will have to do the remaining next time it gets dry

Third function Auger for m5660 advice

Thank you, I wish I could find a good low flow SSQA at that price but all my research is bringing me to the SA20 from the dealer rather than the cheap $900 auger. I don't think the $900 auger would last past a couple hundred holes. We are planting an orchard and after that I know I'll the auger...

    How'd I do (New 2023 Kubota 5660)

They dropped my interest so I went with 84 months at 2.39 APR now that’s what I call free money. Even though NY has high taxes they do try to incentivize farmers (and for a good reason). Now to look for cheap brush hogs and augers! Appreciate the forum, your Help has been awesome

    How'd I do (New 2023 Kubota 5660)

My business thankfully is sales tax exempt since it is a for profit farm, if you buy ag equipment in NY you need to meet certain requirements to get tax exempt. The good thing is basically everything related to the farm is sales tax exempt which really helps since its 8% and unfortunately I...

    mx5400 vs m5660

unfortunately we get about 150 rainy days a year with over 40 inches :( Won't be doing any dumb things like running in deep mud but realistically work can only wait for so long for weather to clear out On the otherside I talked a used l5030 down to 25k with 1k hours, full cab, loader, bush...

    mx5400 vs m5660

thank you everyone, looks like Im going with the 5660 and ill see if they can either swap out tires and rims for wider set or sell me at cost, My biggest concern is rutting up and destroying pastures but shouldnt be a big issue with wider tires on the m5660

    mx5400 vs m5660

hey thanks for the quick response I agree, never too much power but the only reason Im thinking this is because alot of the comparison threads said the M would tear through and rut pastures. The Mx is a bit lighter and has wider tires, I think the Mx would have enough power but for the same...
