Just got done with big lighting upgrade. Installed auxiliary fuse & relay panel and also added switch panel. Amazing difference. First night picture is stock tractor low beam, second night pucture stock high beam. ... then after the upgrade.

    Tool box mount

...I did also reform the top link holder so that it works with the box in place. One downside is that this can limit your view from the driver's seat looking down at your 3pt arms.

    Tool box mount

Wanted a more functional tool box on my MX. I went with heavy plastic vs metal. Won't rust, waterproof, won't dent. Very handy lift out shelf. Plano has made this same box for a very long time, would be easy to replace if needed. Made a bottom plate and then an interior form to really...

    MX grab handle and crossbar

... no offense at all. Im happy if my designs are appealing. I post my projects hoping they can help others. I've spent countless hours looking at other people's projects and borrowing aspects of their designs too.

    Upgraded platform step

This was simple expanded steel tread step.

    MX grab handle and crossbar

I can barely afford my own work with the amount of time messing around with different configurations and versions of both the bar and step! .....don't want to think how many hours I spent on these projects from initial idea to finished project.

    Upgraded platform step

Those are very nice, not cheap either! But none of the aftermarket steps address the platform/fender flexing when a person's weight is on the step. That bugged me. That's why I ran that vertical piece from the bracket to the underside of the platform. Fully solid now, zero flex and a much...

    Upgraded platform step

I did similar to my L4310 when I had it. I never liked how the platform and attached fender flexed when climbing onto the platform step. And the step could be larger and a bit further out for easier foot placement when getting off the tractor. I did not want to drill holes into that main...

    MX grab handle and crossbar

....here's a pic of my final conduit version in place. I then formed the 1" steel round stock to match the conduit bends and shape.

    MX grab handle and crossbar

I do a lot of metal work and blacksmithing, I used my little forge to form the side brackets in a flypress. You could do similar if you have access to a torch. Measure the metal thickness of your loader upright wall. Mine was 3/16", possibly an undersized 5mm. Get a scrap of metal that...

    MX grab handle and crossbar

Didn't want a gasket involved. Each time you pulled your weight on the handle, you would have some movement of the bar with gasket under the brackets. And depending on the material used, it could compress over time and would be looser yet. I forged these brackets to the metal thickness of...

    MX grab handle and crossbar

The previous tractor to my MX was a L4310. There are some things that I like much better on the L4310 compared to my MX, but overall I do love MX5200. The L4310 had a crossbar that spanned between the loader frame uprights in front of the steering wheel. That bar was really handy as a grab...
