Yes the Kubota gr2020/21 does have a reverse safety system. I just press the button when I first engage the mower. I need to frequently use reverse so this prevents me from stalling out when I backup/reverse ( set it & forget it )

My Garden tractor fuel filter did not have a water seperator . So I added one by modifying a stock Kubota filter assembly (P/N: Kubota B2320 ).

Why, if there should arise such an issue I can always drain the tank (remove the drain fitting) . I don't see any significant issues developing as a result of this modification. Unless you have a burning desire to donate to my GR2021 $2,300 USD

Just to update the forum on the situation on my GR2120 Lawn tractor. I had started to drain the fuel tank and got about 1.5 Gal and then suddenly the flow just stopped ! I knew that there was more fuel in the tank but why did the drain flow stop ? Herm was puzzled ! I removed the fuel tank cap...
